I was never one to take the conventional route. Heck, I don't even
care to wander along the path less traveled. Thus far, I've chosen to
bushwhack my way through life. A modern day trailblazer. I'd rather
drive than fly. But I'd also rather walk than ride in a car. If
anything, I think this shows that I like to move slow. But as the
saying goes - slow and steady wins the race. Over the years I've been
able to cover an extensive amount of ground simply because I've ALWAYS been on the move.

For the longest time, I've lived my
life keeping in mind one essential question. If my life were a book,
would anyone want to read it? Books are meant to share interesting
stories, anecdotes, and narratives. That's exactly how I've wanted my
life to turn out. Full of interesting stories and experiences.
Fortunately, I've been able to continuously discover a series of diverse
new experiences. Now that I find myself back in the United States, I plan to write about some of these experiences. More
specifically, I'm going to write about my experiences teaching abroad.
It's not often that we get answers to the way we live our lives. But I
guess I may get
an answer to my question after all.
Regardless of what happens with my writing endeavors, looking back
on the past I can honestly say that I have no regrets. If I could do it
all over again I wouldn't change a thing. And to me, that's the true
benchmark of success.
